One of the embodied Seven Deadly Sins, denizens of Hell, Sloth is probably the least regarded among them. He by his nature does or says as little as possible, has no physical appearance as such, no real body or even face; the closest thing is a stubby, mangled tree trunk deep in a desolate swamp area of Hell. In accordance with his aspect, he does not get involved in anything, although he must bear the consequences anyway.

Life[]

Sloth was a slave owner during the Civil War who refused to free them when Union soldiers told him to. They killed him by hanging him from a tree, a replica of which would become his mouthpiece once he was in Hell.

After Life[]

Being the laziest soul ever to live on earth during their mortal life, Sloth became the very ground of Hell, feeling every motion, vibration, and impact on Hell's surface. Seeing Sloth as a sensor of sorts, Jack and company will usually request information from him, blackmailing him/her by threatening the ground in front of Sloth's "mouth/speaker" of sorts, with a violent stab of a sword-point or other instrument straight into the ground; Sloth's very skin. This is a just form of hell for "the laziest soul", because of the constant disturbances, Sloth may never know rest ever again.
