Vinci and Silver Blue are having a discussion outside Vinci's Bak'ry about the nature of people's opened eyes in Hell. Silver Blue suggests the Angels aren't allowed to intervene, but people in Hell such as themselves are allowed to do so. Before they can think any more on this, a commotion from inside the bakery brings the two inside in time to see Lita throttling Bashful, accusing him of copping a feel on her.
Bashful denies this, instead claiming that he's looking for his Star Fish, Blip and Bloop. After ushering Lita away to de-escalate the situation, Vinci demands that Bash remove the starfish from his shop, but Bashful insists they're service animals that help him. When Blip and Bloop reveal themselves, Vinci insists they leave, and Bashful angrily threatens to never return, but then quickly backtracks on this threat, to Vinci and Silver Blue's relief.
Still angry that he was forced to leave Bashful takes Blip and Bloop to a starfish bar, but he's promptly kicked out for not having ID. Angry and hurt, he follows his starfish friends to their home, but when chasing after them, accidentally runs into a angel named Er Win. It turns out Er Win has also befriended a starfish named Sheila, and the two bond over their shared interests.
When Bash asks Er Win about himself, he admits he's a thrill seeker, and tells Bash that Heaven is the real location for adventure. This seems to intrigue Bashful, but he presses Er Win for more information and the angel admits he goes to Hell and other people's Heavens for research to document things. When Bash finds out he can customize his own Heaven, he is suddenly very interested in going. When he rushes off to tell his friends, he and Er Win share heartfelt goodbyes.
Meanwhile, back at Vinci's Bak'ry, Bob and Lisa suddenly enter with a "proposal." They demand Vinci be their own personal baker, preparing the victims they capture so they can have professional prepared meals. If he refuses, they're turn him over to Drip and eat him when Lust is finished. He refuses, and before the two Sins can make good on their threats, Bashful returns and sics Blip and Bloop on them. Being starfish, they attack with a full poop evacuation, flooding the shop and blasting Bob and Lisa into the air. Vinci's shop is destroyed and he's initially devastated, but quickly realizes Bashful saved him and promises to build a new shop and allow Blip and Bloop to stay there out of appreciation. Vinci and Bashful make up from their earlier argument, and Bashful remembers the conversation he has with Er Win, starting to tell Vinci about what he's learned about Heaven.
