Following the events of Side Arc III: Lullaby, Drip, still partial fused with Jack's cloak (as revelated in Short XXXVII: A Way Out) manifests to taunt Jack. He lets the reaper know that he caused the nightmare Vinci suffered at the start of the previous story. He infuriates Jack by ridiculing his effors to help Vinci and making sexual advances on Vinci's daughter Greer. Jack's anger puts Drip back in his place, but he promises he'll continue trying to find ways to escape.
