Bashful is still following Vinci around Hell, hassling him for details on his life. When he makes one too many inquiries into Vinci's sexuality, Vinci angrily dismisses his comments, saying he could get more women than Bashful because he understands tact. Bashful takes this comment as a challenge, and brings Vinci with him to a social area in Hell to see who can get the most girls to date them.
Bashful makes some moves on a girl wearing a hat, and while she is initially amused by his come-ons, the hat is revealed to be Mr. Smith who tells Bashful to stop hitting on his girl. Bashful flees in terror.
Vinci initially is not interested in pursuing the competition, but Bashful promises that if he loses, he'll spend the rest of the week "practicing the fine are of muteness." Seeing this as too good a deal to pass up, Vinci walks up to a fox girl and gives her the puppy dog eyes and asks for a date, which see immediately agrees to. Vinci is soon surrounded by various girls who consider him cute, and Bashful looks on defeated.
