Arc XI: Why Do You Do What You Do | Arc XII: Jack's Friend Fiver |
Fnar is visiting his mother Jink in Drip's cave. She seems happy to see him and he her, but she suddenly hears Drip approaching and orders Fnar away. Fnar, being his normal innocent self, doesn't understand why, but Jink becomes desperate and angry that Fnar's not listening to her and profanely screams at him to leave. Heartbroken, Fnar leaves while Jink pleads for him to forgive her.
Jack finds Fnar crying and tries to comfort him, explaining his mother was right to keep him away from his father, and that she and his father are the only ones that can hurt him in Hell, either physically or psychologically. Jack adds that he needs to get Fnar out of Hell.
