Jack is having an existential crisis as he laments why everyone is so mad or scared to see him. He narrates his thoughts as he watches a family, including a bug husband, a furry wife and their hybrid son get into a car and start driving along a road built on the cliff of a mountain. The car loses control and careens off the road, plummeting below and killing the whole family. Jack feels a sense of responsibility for the deaths he witnesses, even though deep down he knows he's just doing his job. He beckons the ghosts of the family to follow him, but when he sees how terrified they are, he breaks down asking why can't anyone ever be happy to see him.
