Life[]
Ted was an office worker who secretly harbored a crush on his co-worker Shanna. He previously attempted a relationship with another co-worker, but she was fired by their boss after he had an affair with her. His seen being relatively satisfied in his life prior to being murdered by Mr. Klvis in an office mass shooting.
After Life[]
His ghost is one of the victims of Klvis along with Shanna, John and Kimberly during the events of Arc VII: All Work And No Play... and he is seen angrily blaming Jack for not intervening to stop the murder spree. When told Jack is waiting for the killer to finish and that more of their friends are destined to die, he, Shanna and John force Klvis to kill himself by overpowering him and forcing him to shoot himself.
His actions in life lead to him being sent to Purgatory, a location he is initially satisfied with because he's free from the pains of life. After an encounter with several angels and being told that Shanna wants him to join her in Heaven, he agrees to retry life.
Rebirth[]
Ted's next life is set in a future setting beyond most of the events of the comic, where he is a Space Marine engaged into an interplanetary war with space bugs. He leads his men on several missions but is eventually killed in combat when his troops are overrun by a full siege of their base. He dies peacefully, suggesting he'll be sent to Heaven after Judgement.
